3D, VFX & Motion Capture

When teams need imagery that would be impractical or prohibitively expensive to capture on camera, our 3D artists create the impossible. We design assets and elements that translate to broadcast, digital, social and print to maximize reach without sacrificing quality.

3D design is the creation of computer-generated elements, objects, and environments in three-dimensional space. Our work spans both photorealistic and hyper-stylized possibilities: breathing movement into real-world products, building environments that couldn't exist physically, and creating production-grade visual effects.

Motion capture is the process of digitally recording real human movement using specialized suits and hardware trackers, then translating that data into 2D or 3D character animation. Real-world movement data captures the extreme subtleties of human motion. The result is animation that feels alive in ways that purely keyframed work rarely achieves.

01

Product Visualization

We create photorealistic 3D visualizations of products, letting brands showcase items with full creative control over lighting, angle, and environment. This is especially valuable for products still in development, custom configurations, or campaigns that need visuals beyond what traditional photography can capture.

02

3D Design

We build custom 3D assets and environments from the ground up, whether for a single hero visual or a full library of reusable brand assets. Every model is designed with the end use in mind, so it performs equally well across web, video, and print applications.

03

Character Animation

We design and animate characters that bring personality and storytelling to a brand, from mascots and brand ambassadors to product-based characters used across campaigns. Each character is built with a rig and motion style suited to how it will actually be used, whether that’s a single spot or an ongoing series.

04

Environmental Design

We design immersive 3D environments and virtual spaces used across video, VR, and interactive experiences. These environments are built to feel real and cohesive, whether grounded in a physical location or built entirely from imagination.

05

VFX Compositing

We composite visual effects into live-action footage, blending 3D elements, simulations, and digital enhancements seamlessly with real-world production. Our compositing work is built to hold up under scrutiny, whether the goal is invisible effects work or a stylized, effects-forward look.

06

Virtual Set Design

We design virtual sets that give productions the flexibility of any location or environment without the constraints of a physical build. This allows us to place talent and products into fully custom digital environments that would be difficult, expensive, or impossible to build practically.

07

Motion Capture

We use motion capture to bring real, human movement into 3D characters and animations, giving digital performances a level of authenticity that’s difficult to achieve through keyframe animation alone. This is especially valuable for character-driven work where natural, believable motion is critical.

08

Print and Product Design

We apply our 3D and design capabilities to physical print and product applications, ensuring digital assets translate accurately into real-world materials and formats. This keeps the visual language consistent whether an asset is being viewed on screen or held in hand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need physical products to create product visualizations, or can you work from specs and CAD files?

We can work from either. If a physical product exists, we can use it as reference, but we regularly build product visualizations directly from specs, CAD files, or technical drawings, which means we can create finished visuals for products that are still in development or haven’t been manufactured yet.

How realistic can product visualizations get compared to traditional photography?

Our product visualizations are built to be photorealistic, often indistinguishable from traditional photography once finished. The advantage is control: we can adjust lighting, angle, environment, and finish without needing a physical shoot, and we can visualize configurations, colorways, or product variations that don’t exist as physical samples.

Can 3D assets built for one project be reused or adapted for future campaigns?

Yes. 3D assets we build are typically reusable, so a model created for one campaign can be re-lit, re-angled, or placed in a new environment for future work rather than being rebuilt from scratch. This makes 3D a more efficient long-term asset than a traditional photo or video shoot tied to a single use.

How do you handle revisions on 3D work?

We build review checkpoints into the 3D production process at key stages, like modeling, lighting, and final render, so feedback happens before time-intensive render passes rather than after. This keeps revisions efficient given the render times involved, since catching adjustments earlier avoids re-rendering finished work.

What typically drives cost on a 3D or VFX project?

Cost is primarily driven by modeling complexity, the level of detail and realism required, animation length, and render complexity, including lighting, simulations, and compositing. Projects requiring photorealistic detail or complex effects work generally require more production time than simpler stylized visuals.
